Welcome to the African American Student Center
12/18/2007

logoThe symbol of the African American Student Center (AASC) depicted on the front of our brochure is the Sankofa which is derived from the West African Akan people. “SE WO WERE FI NA WOSANKOFA A YENKYI”. Translated this means, “It is no taboo to return and fetch it when you forget.” This symbol of Wisdom and Learning teaches us, “in order to move forward, one must reclaim the past.”

Mission
