SSEP – EOP

Welcome to the Student Support and Equity Programs (SSEP) website!  SSEP is a department under the Division of Student Affairs that oversees the thirty-six year-old Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) and serves as the academic home for all undeclared students.  In its on-going commitment to access and equity as well as meeting the diverse and changing needs of Cal Poly Pomona's student population, SSEP was developed through a consolidation of Educational Equity Services and University Advising Center in September 2004.  SSEP's dedicated staff  and comprehensive services assist students in getting to and through Cal Poly Pomona.  Please read the Executive Director's welcome message for an overview of SSEP's programs and services.

Office of Financial Aid

The office of Financial Aid is here provide access to higher education for a diverse student population regardless of financial circumstances. Based on a student-centered philosophy, the staff strives to guide and assist students in fulfilling their academic aspirations through quality outreach and the effective and efficient delivery of aid.

University Housing Services

Living on campus is the ultimate way to experience Cal Poly Pomona, as you'll find plenty of opportunities to expand your academic knowledge, build friendships and explore the diverse campus culture.  As a resident student, you'll have immediate access to your professors, the library, computer labs, dining, and recreational facilities, all in a convenient and practical environment.  You'll spend no time commuting and parking, providing you with more time for studying, socializing, working, exercising, or pursuing your personal interests.

Office of Student Life

The office of Student Life is here to uphold the mission of the University, the office of student life and cultural centers exists to support student development, cultural enhancement, social justice and academic excellence.   We adhere to the belief that student involvement results in retention, improved academic performance and leadership. Through co-curricular education and academic support, we empower students to go into their communities and affect positive change. We envision our work will contribute to the enhancement and strengthening our local and global communities.
