Welcome to the Office of Admissions and Outreach

SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING THE SPRING 2011 ADMISSION APPLICATION PROCESS

The initial application filing period for admission to the Spring 2011 term begins on August 1, 2010 and will continue to remain open until September 27. However, because the California Governor and Legislature have not yet adopted a budget, CSU does not know how many students it can admit. While each campus will process your application conditionally, no offer of admission will be sent until we know more about the budget, including funding to support an increase in CSU’s enrollment.

New students who have applied for admission to the spring term will be notified of admissions decisions after September 27 regarding the status of their applications. Once a budget is adopted, each campus to which you apply will notify you about your options: (1) if the budget provides funding to increase CSU enrollment, each campus will finalize its review of your admission eligibility for the Spring 2011 term, or (2) if the budget does not provide additional funding to increase CSU’s enrollment, you will have the option either of (a) requesting that your admission application be changed from Spring 2011 to the Fall 2011 term, or (b) requesting that your admission application be withdrawn and the application fee be refunded.

We are delighted with your interest in Cal Poly Pomona and invite you to apply for admission. Our outreach counselors are here to help answer your questions about admission requirements, college preparation, academic programs, and the many opportunities available at Cal Poly Pomona.

A great way to get connected to Cal Poly Pomona is to become a
Bronco VIP.  As a VIP you will be able to set up your own web page with your unique interests and needs.  We will communicate electronically the information you request as well as important announcements, events and specific deadlines.

As you explore your college opportunities, we hope you will take the time to connect with us electronically, to meet with us in person and to tour the campus.

All Students are encouraged to submit their application during the Priority Application Filing Period. Applications are subject to closure at any time after this period ends.
