Pan-Asian Graduation & Scholarship Celebration 2007-2008

General Information:
When: June 6, 2008
Where: Ursa Major
Time: 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM

Registration:
Participant(s) can register online by clicking here or copy and paste this link: https://cpp-cfm.symplicity.com/events/APISC08 

The application must be completed by Thursday, May 15, 2008.

Payment method: Cash only

Deadline for Registration fee: Thursdayday, May 15, 2008.

Participant(s) can simply drop off payment to the API Student Center Bldg. 95 (Right across from the Marketplace and the Career Center)


Orientation:
There would be a mandatory orientation for participant(s). To accommodate everyone's schedule, please note that we will have two orientation dates, which you can choose from:

First Orientaion: Friday, May 2, 2008  3 PM- 4:30 PM
Second Orientation: Saturday, May 3, 2008 1 PM- 2:30 PM

Volunteer and Suport:
Interested in assisting and/or supporting our program?  There are volunteer positions either to set up and/or clean up the event, or perhaps purchasing event program ad.



APFSSA Student Scholarship and Awards

Available Scholarships and Awards:
1. The President and Mrs. Bob H. Suzuki Undergraduate Scholarship
2. APFSSA Outstanding Upper Division Achievement Award
3. APFSSa Outstanding Lower Division Achievement Award
4. APFSSA Outstanding Community Service and Dean of Students Award
5. Asian & Pacific Islander Student Center Service Award


Application:
Each applicant who wishes to be considered for the scholarship should provide the following application materials:
1. Application
2. One to two page personal statement about your educational/career goals, experience, and financial needs. You may also include other information that you would like to share with the scholarship selection committee.
3. A letter of recommendation


Application Deadline:
Completed applications must be either emailed or mailed (postmarked) no later than May 1, 2008. Please email or mail all applications to: Mr. Jih-Fei Cheng, Coordinator at the API Student Center Bldg. 95 or jihfeicheng@csupomona.edu

Recognition of Scholarship and Award Recipients:
Students who recieve an APFSSA Scholarship and Award will be recognized at the Pan-Asian Graduation and Scholarship Dinner Celebration on June 6th, 2008. Family and friends are invited to celebrate their accomplishments
