Our Office Hours

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm except for State Closure Dates.  Due to budget cuts to the California State University system, Cal Poly Pomona will observe 24 scheduled state closure dates beginning August 2009 and running through June 2010.  Click here to view the closure dates for the 2009-10 academic year.     

Our Office Location

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is located in Building 66, room 116. The building is next to the Bronco Student Center, and also houses the Bronco Bookstore. There are two entrances to the building, one coming from the north through University Park and the other on the south off Eucalyptus Lane. If you enter the building from the north, walk across the atrium to the hallway on the left.  Coming from the south entrance, turn right down the first hallway.  Follow the hallway past the restrooms to the end, Counseling and Psychological Services waiting room will be on the right side, in room 116.

BY SHUTTLE:
Bronco Shuttle A stops by building 26 which is a short walk to building 66.

BY CAR:
If you are a visitor to campus, please go to the Visitor Parking & Information Booth located just off Kellogg Drive to receive parking directions.  Advise the staff you are here to visit CAPS. You can also visit any yellow parking permit dispenser to receive a 1-day parking permit at a cost of $5.00. Metered parking is available near the Parking & Information Booth located just off Kellogg Drive as well.

BY BICYCLE:
There is a bicycle rack on both sides of the building, near the entrances, for the convenience of bicyclists. Remember to lock your bike and ALWAYS wear your helmet.

Driving Directions to Cal Poly Pomona

From Los Angeles:

Take the 10 freeway EAST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  The ramp will transition on to Kellogg Drive.  You should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From Orange County:

Take the 57 freeway NORTH to Temple Avenue and exit north (left-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From The Inland Empire:

Take the 10 freeway WEST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors.  Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From the Pasadena area:

Take the 210 freeway EAST to 57 Freeway SOUTH. Exit on Temple Avenue and turn north (right-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
