Council Transition Retreat - 2009

The Council Transition Retreat will take place on Friday, May 15, from 2:00pm - 5:00pm in the Bronco Student Center - Ursa Minor.

The purpose of the retreat is to welcome council officers, ASI officers, and senators to their new roles; and to help facilitate the beginning of the leadership transition. This retreat is specifically for the new (2009-2010) council executive boards, ASI executive board and ASI senators. Outgoing officers (2008-2009) are encouraged to attend, as well, in order to share their insight.

Retreat Goals are to:

1. Begin connecting officers to their executive board positions and responsibilities

2. Introduce the new leaders to other students, staff, and administrators with whom they will collaborate in the coming year

3. Assist officers in the initiation of council leadership retreats and transition meetings
