Testing services are provided for those DRC students whose disability needs require alternative testing accommodations. These accommodations may include, but are not limited to, extended testing time, a distraction-reduced environment, and/or the use of adaptive equipment.
In order to ensure that we are able to meet your accommodative needs, the DRC student is required to complete the following:
1. Each quarter, you must fill out a Faculty Notification Request. Upon receipt of this form, DRC prepares Notification of Test Accommodation letters. These letters provide notification of your testing accommodations to each of your professors. It is your responsibility to deliver these letters to your professors.
2. For each exam that you wish to take with the use of your accommodations, a Test Request must be submitted. Each Test Request must be turned in to the DRC and to your professor no later than three working days prior to the exam date.
You are required to obtain your professor's approval to take an exam at a different day and/or time.
During Final's Week, the DRC administers over three hundred exams! So that we can effectively serve each student, you are required to submit Final Test Requests by Friday, the 8th week of the quarter.
