Financial Aid Information via Email The Office of Financial Aid will use email as our official means of communication between "us" and "you". You are expected to check your Cal Poly Pomona email account on a consistent basis in order to stay informed, and current with your financial aid status. You can forward your Cal Poly Pomona email to a personal email account. Instructions for this can be found here. We will use email to inform you of changes in your financial aid award, requests for documentation, academic progress information, award cancellations, Stafford Loan Instructions, Federal Work-Study updates and much more!

Privacy: We will never include sensitive information in our email. Private information will remain available for you only through BroncoDirect and is always protected by your BroncoName and BroncoPassword to view your records.

Student Email Address: If you have not activated your Cal Poly Pomona email account, you must do so now. New students will received their Bronco Number and Bronco Claim Code from the Admissions Office. You will receive your BroncoName and will create your Bronco Password when you claim your account. Your BroncoName is the first part of your email address (e.g., lbjones@csupomona.edu) has "lbjones" as a BroncoName  . There are exceptions for long names and duplicate names. If you are not sure what your account name is, use the following link to find out: Directory Search. For further assistance call the Helpdesk at (909) 869-6776. You must claim your account before it can be used. New Students: Use your BroncoName and BroncoPassword to login to BroncoDirect from the Cal Poly Pomona home page. Click on "Personal Portfolio" under "Contact Information".

Forwarding Cal Poly Pomona emails: You can forward your Cal Poly Pomona email to your Hotmail or other email account. Click here for step by step instructions on forwarding your email. PLEASE REMEMBER: This new paperless email system will notify you of important changes, and updates to your award and file.
