Be a citizen or eligible non- citizen, a national or permanent resident of the U.S., or be in the U.S. for other than temporary purpose.
Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in a degree or certification program.
Have a valid social security number.
Maintain satisfactory academic progress. (See Academic Progress tab)
Not be in default on any student loan previously received.
Not owe a refund or repayment on any federal grant previously awarded.
Demonstrate financial need based on methodology written into law by U. S. Congress.
Comply with the U.S. Selective Service registration requirements if applicable.
Selective Service Information If you are a male who is at least 18 years old and born after December 31, 1959, you MUST be registered with Selective Service in order to receive Federal student aid. You may now Register with Selective Service on-line.
