Co-Curricular Portfolio
The Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers and the Student Development and Leadership Institute (SDLI) continues to enhance services for students. In 2004, we introduced a new leadership resource for students called the Co-Curricular Portfolio. The purpose of the Co-Curricular Portfolio is to provide Cal Poly Pomona students and alumni with a personal record that tracks all leadership related involvement a student has completed while attending Cal Poly Pomona.
The Co-Curricular Portfolio is a self entry web based tool where students can access and update their record any time of the day, from any internet connected computer. Students create a personal account within the Co-Curricular Portfolio web site and enter their leadership involvement activities into various fields. These fields are categorized by date of involvement, skills learned, area of development and activity description. Students have access to update and print their record at any time.
The Co-Curricular Portfolio Can Help You By:
-
Making more informed choices about maximizing your time outside of class
-
Retaining more than just an academic transcript to document your college experiences
-
Supplementing graduate school and scholarship applications
-
Identifying skills and abilities that can assist you in your career planning and job search process
