Student Organization Registration Procedure

New Clubs: To register a new club or organization, click on New Club for instructions.

Existing Clubs:
All student organizations must register on an annual basis. In order to register your club/organization for 2009-2010 academic year, complete all the steps outlined below by October 16, 2009. For additional information, contact the Office of Student Life and Cultural Centers (OSLCC) at (909)869-2841 or leadership@csupomona.edu.
Registration Deadline: October 16, 2009
The steps to registering student organizations are outlined below. Please read these instructions carefully and follow the steps:
Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form
- Obtain username & password from your organization's Faculty/Staff Advisor or outgoing President (2008-2009 President)
- You must use an on-campus computer to compete this registration form
- Click Here to start the Online Registration Form
- Complete all fields: club information, Advisor, Alternate Advisor (if applicable), President, Vice President, Secretary, & Treasurer Information
- You will not be required to re-submit your organization's bylaws if there have been no changes. If there have been any changes to your organization's bylaws, you may update them at this point
- To save your progress on this registration form, click "Update"
- Print a copy of your on-line registration & keep it for your organization's records

Step 2: Attend a Student Organization Orientation
- All club/organization Presidents are required to attend one orientation, although other officers are welcome and encouraged to attend
- Representatives must attend the full hour to earn credit
- You may represent more than one organization
- There is no need to register or RSVP to attend the orientation

8) Friday, Oct 16th 12:00-1:00pm, BSC: Centaurus; week 3
9) Tuesday, Oct 20th 12:00-1:00pm, BSC: Centaurus; (late registration) week 4
Step 3: Submit Advisor Application Form
- The Advisor Application (click here) confirms that the officers of the organization have selected the advisor(s), that the advisor accepts the role, and that the advisor's department are aware and approve of this
- Review the Advisor Application with your Cal Poly Pomona Faculty or Staff Advisor(s)
- Please print legibly, do not abbreviate the name of the organization
- Obtain original signatures
- Please make sure your advisor puts their initials next to the area marked: "I am familiar with EO 1006."
- You may have 1 or 2 advisors listed on the application
- Submit the Advisor Application to OSLCC
Step 4: Visit ASI Business Services
- Once steps 1-3 have been completed, an email will be sent by OSLCC confirming that the organization is now officially registered
- Once the organization is registered, submit the ASI Signature form (click here) to ASI Business Services (located on the second floor of the Bronco Student Center, building 35). Submitting the application, is stating that you have read the ASI Business Office Information (click here)
- No INDOOR/OUTDOOR Event scheduling can be requested until the ASI signature form is submitted
