In 2006, Parking & Transporation Services:
- Served 24,253 customers at the Parking Office
- Sold 56,215 permits at the Parking/Information Booth
- Performed 834 battery jumps
- Unlocked 477 vehicle doors
- Responded to 779 campus escorts
- Responded to 306 illegal parking complaints
- Located 45 lost vehicles
- 496,554 riders boarded campus shuttles in fiscal year 2006-07
- Student carpools increased approximately 10% in fiscal year 2006-07 from 55,169 the previous year to 60,851
Mission Statement Parking & Transportation Services is dedicated to maintaining accessible and attractive parking facilities. The objective is to manage parking resources efficiently so that students, faculty, staff, and visitors are able to park conveniently and maintain commuter programs, promote transportation alternatives, and reduce parking demand.
