SPECIAL PARKING SERVICES

Motorist Assistance
(Battery Jumps and Vehicle Unlocks - ext. 3070)
All persons having a valid parking permit are eligible to receive motorist assistance.  This assistance includes battery jumps and vehicle unlocks.  Dial ext. 3070 from any Code Blue phone or campus extension, and a Parking Officer will be dispatched as soon as possible.

To expedite services, please have the following information available for your dispatcher: the parking lot you are in; the number of nearest light pole; the year, make, and color of your vehicle; and your license plate number.  If you need a battery jump, please raise the hood of your vehicle.


Code Blue Phones

Code Blue Phones are located in Lots B, C, D, F-6, J, K, N-1, N-3, M, and on Red Gum Lane at University Drive.  Code Blue Phones have been installed for your safety and convenience.  If you have an EMERGENCY, dial 911.  For a battery jump, escort, vehicle-unlock and other service related calls, please dial ext. 3070. Medical Parking

For the convenience of the medically disabled, courtesy medical parking permits may be obtained from Parking and Transportation Services.  A statement from the Health Center or a personal physician must be specific as to the nature of the illness/injury and the anticipated recovery date.  Medical parking permits are valid only in designated medical parking spaces.  Medical permits must be renewed quarterly and in order to obtain a medical permit, proof of purchase for a valid parking permit must be shown. Motorcycle Permits
Two wheel vehicles including mopeds or any motorized bicycles requiring a license by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles are charged $23.00 per quarter for parking permits and required to park in a designated motorcycle space.  Permit is to be displayed on the rear fender or on the front fork.  (Please note that parking rates are subject to change at any time with or without notice).
