Alarm and Access Control Systems

By identifying your needs and goals, you can determine the best security controls for your environment. To provide security to a specific area to protect persons/property, you will likely want to install an alarm system. To secure an area and identify or audit access to the area, an access control system would be appropriate. A wide selection of equipment and options are available. As the University Police Department has primary responsibility for alarm montioring and response, we are a valuable resource and would like to be involved in your installation/implementation. Guidelines for alarm system installation, access control card requests and appropriate use, and request forms are provided below.
