Community Service Officers

Police CSOs provide additional "eyes and ears" patrolling on bike/vehicle/foot in and around residential areas, campus buildings, parking lots. CSOs also provide traffic control, applicant live scan/fingerprint services, technology support, dispatch assistance, weekend building unlocks, and special event coverage.

Housing CSOs provide additional "eyes and ears" in the Housing/Village areas during late night hours.

All CSOs carry a two-way radio providing direct contact with the dispatcher/officers.

Police CSOs may be identified by their tan uniform or polo shirts and blue jackets with shoulder patches.

Safety Escort Program

Parking CSOs provide safety escorts to/from campus locations, Monday-Friday from 6:00-11:00PM .  Call 869-3070 or ext3070 to request an escort.  Police officers may provide escorts after hours as available at their discretion.
