How Can I Get Involved?
There are many opportunities available with our office. We have a dynamic, supportive, and innovative staff that is ready to support you in your goals. Learning more and getting involved is the first step in contributing to the campus community and connecting with other students who are interested in making a difference. Participating in programs with the Stop Violence Office enables you to utilize your communication, presentation, writing, creative and artistic abilities-important skills to have on your resume for your future endeavors.

Internship
Interested in peer counseling, public speaking, acting, and addressing issues about violence against women? Our internship program focuses on preparing students to reach out into the campus community by developing programs for Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Stalking Awareness Months. Students will participate in the Internship Training Program and learn how to present and discuss issues about domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, and diversity. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about community resources, develop interpersonal communication skills and become involved with a service- learning project.
