Articulation

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements developed with other educational institutions identify the equivalent Cal Poly Pomona course for a given transfer course.  To view the articulation agreements, go online and visit the ASSIST website.

The ASSIST website will help you determine if a California Community College transfer course is accepted for baccalaureate elective credit or is considered non-baccalaureate work (non-transferable).  ASSIST also provides a list of California Community College courses approved for General Education (GE certified).

The Lower-Division Transfer Pattern Project

The Lower Division Transfer Pattern (LDTP) by Major project is one of several ways that California Community College (CCC) students may use to prepare for study at the California State University (CSU).  CCC students who know the major they wish to pursue at which CSU campus, traditional major preparation articulation and transfer admission agreements are valuable.  However, for transfer students who are uncertain about which CSU campus they will attend, the LDTP provides a measure of flexibility and options for preparation. LDTP may provide articulation for students whose community college does not have existing CSU articulation.  For more information please visit the CSU LDTP website.

For questions regarding Cal Poly Pomona’s articulation agreements, please contact the Articulation Officer, Jose Lozano, at (909) 869-2994 or e-mail at jllozano@csupomona.edu.
