Academic Advising

Each Renaissance Scholar is advised by a Faculty Advisor within their major and their Renaissance Scholars Educational Counselor.

Renaissance Scholars has an extremely talented and committed Educational Counselor from Student Support and Equity Programs (SSEP) who provides student focused advising and assists our Scholars in identifying their strengths to meet their educational and career goals. Our Educational Counselor, Makeda D. Bostic, brings with her a wealth of knowledge on the needs of students in the program from her experience as a former Cal Poly Pomona student, Renaissance Scholar, and professional experience working with students in this population.
