Project Request Form

The purpose of this form is to submit an idea or request for a technology solution to enhance services to students.  Maybe you have heard about a new application or tool that sounds useful.  Maybe you just have a problem and want to know if SAITS can think of a technology solution.  In either instance, the earlier you submit your inquiry, the more effectively and efficiently a solution can be found.  So give it a try! 

To determine the best possible solution, submit your inquiry using a very general description of the problem that you want to solve or the enhancement of services you want to achieve.  Instead of saying "I need a database", use the W-W-H-W-W rule:

• WHAT - What does the department want to achieve from a "functional perspective"?
• WHY   - Why helps clarify the What - defines the context of your request.
• HOW   - In collaboration with SAITS, you will determine the "How" and reach a recommendation?
• WHEN -  What is the timeframe by which this should be implemented?
• WHO   -  Who will this benefit?  Who is the target audience for this solution?
