IMPORTANT Dates & Deadlines 

Jul 31 – Sept 1 – Order Fall 2006 Parking Decal via BroncoDirect

Aug 5 - 25 – Withdrawal permitted by petition and only emergency clearly beyond the control of the student

Aug 14 – Fall 2006 Fee Bills available via BroncoDirect

Aug 14 – Sept 1 – Check account balance and credit card payment via BroncoDirect

Aug 21 – Fall 2006 textbooks available at Bookstore

Aug 28 - 31 – Final exams  

Aug 21 – Sept 29 – Refund for returned textbooks

Sept 1 – Deadline to pay Fall Quarter 2006 fees. Outstanding balance must be paid by this deadline or Fall classes will be dropped.

BroncoConnection is the Career Center’s new on-line job and campus recruiting resource.  BroncoConnection, which replaces MonsterTRAK, offers better one-stop career management services to help connect you with great employers, on campus and off campus jobs, including our On-Campus Recruiting Program, RSVP for Career Center Workshops, and research employer before attending out Career Fairs.  To Log-in use your Cal Poly Pomona email address as your username and your BroncoID as you initial password.  http://career.csupomona.edu/

 

STUDENT EMAIL BOXES MOVING TO EXCHANGE

MOROCCAN STUDY PROGRAM PROMOTES CULTURAL AND HISTORICAL AWARENESS
Seventeen Cal Poly Pomona students watched the sunset on the horizon of the vast Sahara Desert and swam in the shallow waters of the Mediterranean Sea; all the while earning 12 units. PAUL THOMAS ACCEPTS D-1 COACHING JOB
Paul Thomas, who guided Cal Poly Pomona's women's basketball program to a pair of national championships and 235 wins over an outstanding 12-year career, has been named the new head coach at Division-I St. Mary's College.http://polycentric.csupomona.edu/news.asp?id=1317

 

TWO-DAY CONCERT SET TO ROCK CAL POLY POMONA

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) and Goldenvoice Concerts team up again to rock California with The Bamboozle Left festival at Cal Poly Pomona, the largest event ever to be hosted by the campus.  On October 14 and 15, 2006 the Cal Poly Pomona Athletic Field will be transformed into a two-day music festival where more than 40 bands including Dashboard Confessional and Brand New will perform live for thousands of fans on three stages.  Discount tickets will go on sale in Games Room Etc. on August 9 at noon. FOAL PATROL: LOTS OF BABY HORSES ON THE WAY

It's going to be a busy spring at the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center. As of late 15 mares are pregnant, which is more than double compared to last year.  http://polycentric.csupomona.edu/news.asp?id=1319

 

LT. GOVERNOR DONATES BLOOD AT CAL POLY POMONA

Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante donated blood at the American Red Cross Service Center located at Cal Poly Pomona's Innovation Village on Wednesday to raise awareness in Latino communities that donating blood is critically needed.
