Health Promotion

While the bulk of our clinical services take place in our main facility, the Health Center (Bldg. 46), we know that your health extends to other areas not addressed by our doctors or nurse practitioners. We realize that not every student will ever come in to take advantage of his or her on-campus health facility. That's where our Health Promotion Department and our satellite facility, The Student Health Services (SHS) Wellness Center, come in! 

Trained health educators, both staff and peers, are available for individual appointments as well as classroom presentations or group programs dealing with a wide range of health related topics. The SHS Wellness Center, conveniently located on campus in The Bronco Student Center, Bldg. 35, is an inviting spot for anyone to drop in and learn more about their health and how to study well. Peer health educators are available for confidential sessions to help you learn ways to be more productive in school.
