Student Health Services (SHS) Wellness Center
Student Health Services' educational satellite facility, the SHS Wellness Center, is conveniently located in the center of campus in the Bronco Student Center (35-1341), near Round Table Pizza. The SHS Wellness Center is staffed by trained Peer Health Educators (PHE)-- who often have a background in either Kinesiology & Health Promotion or Foods & Nutrition. Many of the PHE's work in conjunction with classroom assignments and special projects.
Most services are free and no appointments are needed. Students can drop in any time to complete assessments, pick up health education literature, talk to a staff or peer health educator, or take advantage of our many services listed below and on the menus to the left.
We welcome walk-in traffic during our hours of operation. Please note that while we try to meet the needs of every student, we cannot complete more than 5 written assessments OR 3 active assessments in one day, due to time and staffing constraints.
