Our Health Education department is responsible for planning, organizing and assessing a variety of programs and activities designed to educate students and the campus community.
Programs
- Lecture Presentations:
Tailored presentations on a variety of topics including nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, sexuality or a topic of your choice (Please fill out a WC Program Request Form)
- Group Presentations:
Designed to increase awareness of health issues by delivering informative, interactive, and engaging presentations for student or campus groups & organizations (Please fill out a WC Program Request Form)
- Healthy Monday:
Like our Facebook page and receive free healthy tips each Monday to help you start the week off right!
- HIV Testing
- CPR/AED Classes
- 21st Birthday Card
Events
- HealthFest: Typically held on 4th Thursday of October
- BE SMART: An annual alcohol awareness fair held in combination with HealthFest, designed to educate on the safe and legal use of alcohol
- American Red Cross blood drives: Held once a month except July and December
