Program Eligibility

To qualify for admission to Cal Poly Pomona's Educational Opportunity Program, a student must:

  • Be an undergraduate student and meet the family income guidelines 

                      Please see the EOP Family Income Guidelines 

  • Demonstrate potential for success and be motivated to achieve his or her educational goals
  • Be a California resident or an AB 540 nonresident tuition exemption student
  • Enroll as a full-time student (at least 12 units per quarter)
  • Be a first-time applicant to the CSU System
    •

Please note: EOP students transferring from another CSU campus are eligible for the program upon verification of EOP status at previous CSU institution.
