Student Support & Equity Programs |

Each undeclared student will be assigned to an Academic Advisor who will provide academic advising and registration assistance during Summer Bridge and throughout the year. Each declared student chosen to participate in Summer Bridge will meet with an advisor from his/her academic discipline to determine the appropriate schedule prior to enrolling in classes.
Qualified EOP students who attend Summer Bridge may receive an EOP grant of up to $1,200 for the first year of attendance at Cal Poly Pomona. Since funds are extremely limited, you will have a much better chance of receiving an EOP grant if your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) was submitted before the March 2 deadline.
Peer Tutors will provide study strategies as well as subject specific assistance. They are available in the residence hall during Summer Bridge to help students with academic support.
A study hall will be maintained every day to ensure that students develop strong study habits and allow the appropriate amount of time to become successful in college. Group study will be encouraged during this period.
Not all students will come to Summer Bridge with personal computers. The University Library Computer Commons is available from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. If students use library computers, students will need to supply paper and pay for printing.
Students will have many opportunities to meet with professional staff from essential departments such as: Financial Aid and Scholarships, Housing, Career Center, Student Health Services, Office of Student Life & Cultural Centers, Disability Resource Center, to name a few.
