University Housing Services Business Hours

Cal Poly Pomona employees will be observing furloughs beginning August 1st, 2009.  Please be aware that University Housing Services will be closed certain days each month.  Closed office days will be posted on our department calendar.

Our Office Hours During The Regular Academic Year

Our normal office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm except for State Closure Dates.  Due to budget cuts to the California State University system, Cal Poly Pomona will observe 24 scheduled state closure dates beginning August 2009 and running through June 2010.  Click here to view the closure dates for the 2009-10 academic year. 

Residence Hall Front Desk Hours: 
Monday thru Friday: 2:00PM to 10:00PM
Saturday and Sunday: 6:00PM to 10:00PM

Our Office Location

University Housing Services (UHS) is located in Building 59. The entrance is located just off University Drive behind the duck pond and across from Building 17.

Directions to Our Office

The map below has a red arrow that indicates the main entrance to business offices of University Housing Services. Take either the stairs or handicap accessible ramp to the main doors. The front desk will be on your left hand side.

BY SHUTTLE:
Bronco Express Shuttle A stops in front of the Rose Garden which is across the street from Building 59.  Bronco Express Shuttle B stops in front of Building 58, Cedritos Residence Hall, which neighbors UHS.

BY CAR:
If you are a visitor to campus, please stop by the Parking & Information Booth (bottom left in map) located just off Kellogg Drive to receive parking directions. Long term parking is available in designated areas of Parking Lot D, F2-F10 or the Parking Structure with a valid permit. Temporary permits can be obtained from the Parking & Information Booth or yellow parking permit dispensers located in the parking structure and Lot F4. There are several 30 minute visitor parking spaces located along the curb in front of UHS and at the intersection of University Drive and Red Gum Lane. Permit parking spaces are available along the curb across the street from the building. Driving instructions to campus appear below.

BY BICYCLE:
There are bicycle racks located around the residence halls. Remember to lock your bike and ALWAYS wear your helmet!

Driving directions to Cal Poly Pomona

From Los Angeles:

Take the 10 freeway EAST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  The ramp will transition on to Kellogg Drive.  You should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors. Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From Orange County:

Take the 57 freeway NORTH to Temple Avenue and exit north (left-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From The Inland Empire:

Take the 10 freeway WEST and exit at Kellogg Drive.  Stay in your left lane, you should be on the left side of the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors.  Follow Kellogg Drive and after the stop light turn right when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.

From the Pasadena area:

Take the 210 freeway EAST to 57 Freeway SOUTH. Exit on Temple Avenue and turn north (right-hand turn) to the campus.  Temple will go down the hill. Stay on Temple until the large electronic marquee that welcomes visitors at South Campus Drive.  Turn right on South Campus Drive, left on Kellogg Drive, and turn left when you see the Visitor Parking Booth.
