School/Group Tours

The Visitor Center prides itself on helping educate young visitors about the exciting opportunity of higher education. Our tours are designed to not only inform your students about Cal Poly Pomona, but to give them the encouragement and knowledge they need to make their own higher education dreams a reality.

BETWEEN JUNE - SEPTEMBER OUR OFFICE ONLY OFFERS GROUPS SELF-GUIDED OR SCAVENGER HUNT TOURS. 

2008-2009 ACADEMIC YEAR GROUP TOUR RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER JULY 15, 2008.

School/Group Tour dates fill up quick.  Make sure to book at least six months in advance. 

Note: Our office may be able to provide a presentation with a scheduled school/group tour, self-guided tour or scavenger hunt tour.

Guided campus tours for class field trips are typically scheduled for Thursday and Friday mornings during the academic year (late September to early June). Depending on tour guide availability and the size of your group, other arrangements can sometimes be made. We do inform all tour groups that they should make their reservation six months in advance.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Visitor Center does not offer guided campus tours during the summer.

Teachers/Counselors: The Cal Poly Pomona Visitor & Information Centers provides a lesson plan, written materials, scavenger hunt and review as an educational tool for students to interact and learn about the location of programs and services, give them insight into what it is like to be a Cal Poly Pomona student, and share with them some of Cal Poly Pomona's unique features.
