2008 CiVSA Annual Conference Call for Proposals
|
|

|
The entire CiVSA membership plays a vital role in presenting conference topics that are both stimulating and educational. Our diverse backgrounds, talents and abilities, job responsibilities and personality traits provides a perfect formula for learning and sharing with each other. Here are a couple of ways YOU can contribute to a successful conference:
Share Your Expertise - Be a Program Presenter
Participating as a conference presenter is a great way to become involved in CiVSA, gain presentation experience, or even help to justify your attendance. If you have any ideas or would like to present but do not have a topic, we are more than willing to work with you so go ahead and submit a proposal. You know you have much to share!
Presentation opportunities include concurrent sessions, roundtables, and a panel discussion. The process is easy: Complete the Program Proposal Form and return it to the Conference Program Co-Chairs. The Conference Committee and Executive Board will evaluation your proposal.
The deadline for all proposals is Friday, February 29, 2008.
Just Need Advice? - Suggest a Program Topic
Do you have a topic but don't want to present? Is something in your visitation program just not working but you think a fellow CiVSAN might have all the right answers? Let us know what you'd like to see covered at a conference session and we'll search for the presenter! Return the attached Program Suggestion Form to the Conference Program co-chairs.
The deadline for topic proposals is Friday, February 29, 2008.
